What is Survodutide?

Residues at positions 18, 20 and 23 are swapped in from GLP-1 and position 16 from exendin-4, with position 2 replaced by the unnatural amino acid Ac4c. A C18 fatty acid chain provides albumin binding. The result is a molecule that engages two receptors whose native ligands normally oppose one another.
